Update your display name

Change the name shown in your dashboard greeting and profile, including cooldown rules.

Your display name appears in the dashboard greeting and profile menu. Edit it in Account Settings under your profile details.

Display name changes may be subject to a cooldown period to prevent abuse. If the field is locked, the date of your last change is shown in settings.

If you prefer to use your legal first name only, leave display name blank and update your first name in profile details instead.
