MetaApi secure sign-in for MT5

Why MT5 login happens on MetaApi and how to complete the configuration link.

MetaApi is Trade Optic's authorised partner for MetaTrader 5 connectivity. Your MT5 credentials are entered only on MetaApi's hosted configuration page, not in Trade Optic.

  1. Start connection in Trade Optic with your MT5 server name.
  2. Open the configuration link when prompted (allow pop-ups if blocked).
  3. Enter your MT5 account number and password on MetaApi.
  4. Return to Trade Optic — the connection status updates once MetaApi confirms deployment.
Configuration links expire after several days. Use Reconnect on the connection card if your link is no longer valid.
