Connect MetaTrader 5 via MetaApi

Link your MT5 account using your broker server name and MetaApi secure sign-in.

MetaTrader 5 connects through MetaApi. You provide your MT5 server name in Trade Optic, then complete login on MetaApi's secure configuration page.

  1. Open Broker Connections and select MetaTrader 5.
  2. Enter your exact MT5 server name (e.g. ICMarketsSC-Demo) as shown in your MT5 terminal.
  3. Select Continue to secure setup — a MetaApi configuration link opens in a new tab.
  4. Sign in with your MT5 login and password on MetaApi. Trade Optic never stores your MT5 password.
If the configuration link expires, use Refresh connection or Reconnect on the connection card to generate a new link.
